Eva Zar is a director and photographer, based in New York City. Growing up as a Third Culture Kid, she’s been searching for the feeling of home her entire life. In her “research” she found it’s not really a geographical place - it’s community, it’s connecting with people beyond cultural and language barriers.

Creating photographs and film only speaks one language and it’s what inspired her to become a photographer in the first place. It’s a feeling she missed in her childhood. Through her work, she’s been lucky enough to find it.

Eva Zar’s mission and purpose is to provide visuals that show diversity across all skin tones, self-expressions, genders, orientations, ages, abilities and body types.

Clients include Pinterest, Fenty Skin, Olay, The New York Times, Refinery29, Target, Universal Music Group, Living Proof, Viacom CBS, Chobani, Converse, Warner Music Group, Adore Me, Paper Magazine, Audi and Champion.
