Hi, I’m Eva Zar -- a photographer and director, based in New York City. Originally from Dagestan, Russia I was raised in Vienna, Austria.
I started out as a photographer on a one year long assignment for Vice magazine in Vienna. As luck would have it, I had the chance to move to NYC and my life changed. These days, I split my time between strip clubs and commercial sets. Regardless of who I’m shooting, I’m always interested in beauty, glam, magic.
I’ve had the honor to shoot multiple OOH campaigns and global TVCs, broke stereotypes by showcasing trans icons on Times Square, slept with wolves on location, judged the ADC awards and was named Photographer of the Year by Vfiles. I’ve also had the pleasures to shoot icons like Kim Petras, Noah Cyrus, Allyson Felix, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Wolf and many more.
